2nd Annual Juneteenth Run for Education
June 15 @ 7:00 am – 10:00 am
Our Mission
The Running Edge is partnering with Mino Learning Lab to host our fourth annual Juneteenth Day of Service and our second #RunForEducation fundraiser.
We promote healthy habits, battle food insecurity, and create community through the arts while empowering Miami’s Historically Black Neighborhoods. We are happy to be working alongside them.
Our Objectives
- Promoting healthy habits in our community through fitness.
- Raising$10,000 to provide high-quality professional development and classroom supplies to assist Title I schools and youth-serving organizations in need.
- Highlighting and paying homage to Miami’s Historically Black Neighborhoods.
The Route
This year’s Run for Education event will take our participants through some of Miami’s Historic Overtown. It’s our way of sharing the experience and richness of Miami’s black community.
